During the last two weeks some promising news have come out to make the world a better place for alcoholics — both clinical and voluntary ones.

Let’s make a toast to being sober!

Researchers from two Californian universities have successfully reduced blood alcohol levels in mice fast and significantly by injecting them with enzymes that degrade alcohol.

Selincro is expected to be on the market in mid-2013; and it’d better serve its purpose, since the enzymes are still experimental.
